Bring your favorite side dish and we’ll bring the hamburgers, hotdogs, and vegetarian options. Hosted by Bexley Celebrations Committee, Bexley DEI, Bexley Minority Parents Association, Bexley Public Library, City of Bexley, Culture People You, and Peyton Payton.

We celebrate June 18th to commemorate that on June 18, 1865, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed, the enslaved people of Galveston Texas were told that slavery had ended. The Bexley Juneteenth Planning Committee invites you to join us for a day recognition, reflection, and celebration of the freedom, struggle and resilience that this day marks.
