Everyone in the community is invited! On Saturday, March 23rd, 2024, is Capital University's 2nd Annual ROTC 5K Run/Walk. This 5K is free to run but donations are appreciated. All personnel that donate and attend in person will receive a custom T-shirt (Free T-shirt for Capital University Students). This is a charity/fundraiser 5K in support of The Gary Sinise Foundation. The Gary Sinise Foundation is a charity and veterans service organization that offers a variety of programs, services, and events for wounded veterans of the military. We will make a charitable donation to the Gary Sinise Foundation with 50% of the proceeds. The other 50% will go towards funding our Army ROTC program's training opportunities and events. The Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) is a college program offered at more than 1,700 colleges and universities across the United States that prepares young adults to become officers in the U.S. Military.
