BCF Adds 3rd Grant Cycle for 2023!

The Bexley Community Foundation is thrilled to announce a third cycle for our annual grants program, with a due date of October 20, 2023. The BCF welcomes any organization interested to apply for a grant. “We have seen a very high volume of grant requests and will be moving from two grant cycles per calendar year to three to meet the needs of the growing requests,” Hallie Raskin, Executive Director, said. “We have granted over $5 million since 2010.”

Grant requests are reviewed by our Grants Committee, made up of eight Bexley residents representing different ages, views and corners of our Community. The Grants Committee discusses the requests as they relate to the mission of the BCF, to sustain and enhance Bexley as a special place to live, learn, work, play and care. Our Board of Directors has final approval of the requests.

In 2023, the Bexley Community Foundation has funded grants for Love Your Alley, the Splish, Splash and Dash Youth Triathlon, the Bexley Fairy Village, our North and South Community Gardens, Bexley Celebrations & Events, and more. In 2022, over $325,000 was awarded to fund 36 different projects in our Bexley community.
