Bexley Community Foundation Grants Program

In 2022, over $325,000 in grants was awarded to fund 36 different projects in our Bexley community. These projects include: the North Community Gardens to repair the plots and replace rotting wood; restoration of the steps outside of Jeffrey Mansion; the free tree giveaway, where residents have the opportunity to win a free tree on Arbor Day in April; a new baby grand piano at Jeffrey Mansion; and food assistance through DARN’s summer food program.

The Bexley Community Foundation welcomes any organization who may be interested to apply for a grant. We are here to listen to your ideas and help you through the application process. The Foundation holds two grant cycles annually – one in the spring and the other in the fall.

Grant requests are reviewed by our Grants Committee, made up of eight Bexley residents representing different ages, views and corners of our Community. The Grants Committee discusses the requests as they relate to the mission of the BCF, to sustain and enhance Bexley as a special place to live, learn, work, play and care. Our Board of Directors has final approval of the requests. To date, we have awarded over $4.5 million in grants to our Bexley Community!

If you would like more information on the grant program or would like to learn more about the Foundation please contact Hallie Raskin, Executive Director, at Hallie@BexleyCommunityFoundation.org. Also, feel free to stop by the BCF office. We are the cute little building with the blue awning behind Graeter’s at 552 S. Drexel. Ave.
