We renamed our studio to Beyond Arts & Music because we wanted to go beyond our music classes and lessons to bring a thriving and diverse arts community to the whole 43209 community and beyond. We will continue to offer our Kindermusik classes and music lessons, and we are adding new classes, like card making classes for kids and adults, cookie decorating classes for kids, painting classes for adults, and soon will be offering art classes for kids and theatre/improv classes as well.

We will also have a variety of special events throughout the year. Some will correspond to holidays or seasons of the year. Some will just be for fun. Our goal is to make this a welcoming, inviting place for community, connection, and creativity. We also welcome ideas from the community on what classes they would like to see...or maybe one of our community members wants to offer a class!

Beyond Arts & Music strives to provide quality classes and events that help everyone who enters find a place of belonging. We have instructors who are experienced in various art forms and who are bringing innovative and creative activities and classes to the space. We had a grand opening at the end of August and are overwhelmed by the support we have seen from the community.

Over the past 3+ years we have had a shortage of opportunities to create and connect with others. Getting together with friends and community was lacking and I think we were all feeling the void. BAM is open to all who want to find their village. Our inspiration for opening a space is to help people to gather together and build something stronger and greater than any one of us can do alone.

BAM can also be used as an event space to host birthday parties, wedding showers, baby showers, workshops, and other events.
